The new enterprise platform allows organisations to test their artificial intelligence tools as if they were human employees.

Hack The Box introduces an enterprise platform for continuously measuring the competence of AI cybersecurity agents.

Enterprises frequently evaluate employee performance meticulously. However, artificial intelligence tools often escape this intense level of scrutiny. Many organisations deploy these digital agents without continuously assessing their actual operational capabilities.

Hack The Box recently introduced a novel solution to address this growing blind spot in the industry. The cybersecurity platform launched the AI Range Enterprise Edition specifically for enterprise security teams. This new system allows firms to thoroughly test their automated security agents.

Companies can finally verify if these digital workers perform assigned cybersecurity roles effectively. The new enterprise tier builds upon the original testing platform released in December 2025. Previously, government agencies extensively pressure-tested the initial controlled cyber environments.

Private security teams possess a dedicated role-based appraisal process for their own tools. Therefore, teams can seamlessly integrate automated capabilities with essential human oversight. The platform tests digital workers against specific job expectations under realistic network conditions.

Moreover, the system generates measurable pass/fail results across various threat environments. As threat landscapes evolve, teams can easily repeat these essential appraisals over time. Hack The Box executives noted that trust remains paramount as automation expands.

They explained that leaders must verify automated capabilities whilst simultaneously empowering human experts. Consequently, the firm developed an innovative scoring system for human operators working alongside automation. This competence scoring evaluates whether cybersecurity professionals effectively oversee automated outputs.

For instance, human analysts must know exactly when to intervene in automated reasoning processes. Additionally, they must recognise when to let machine-driven work proceed without unnecessary interruption. The platform currently supports augmented roles for penetration testers and security analysts.

Hack The Box plans to introduce further augmented roles within the coming months. Ultimately, industry analysts recently recognised the company for its advanced cyber readiness initiatives.
