The Five-Part Evaluation

  1. 01

    Key Evaluation Dimensions

Core performance indicators for the nominated category β€” financial soundness, product quality, customer outcomes and governance.

  2. 02

    Competitive Differentiation

What the organisation does measurably better or differently than its peers β€” innovation, service model, technology or reach.

  3. 03

    Competitive Landscape

Positioning within the sector and region, assessed against direct competitors and market benchmarks.

  4. 04

    Merit & Judgement Scale

Structured scoring by the BT editorial panel across the evaluation dimensions, weighted by tier.

  5. 05

    Final Assessment & Verdict

Panel review of the full evidence file, verification of claims, and the final award decision for the cycle.

Evaluation runs in two phases: an eligibility screen against the tier criteria, followed by the full panel assessment. Detailed, sector-specific criteria are provided to qualified organisations through the awards portal.
