Tata Consultancy Services has initiated a massive restructuring effort across its global operations. The tech giant is reorganising crucial industry verticals and geographies. The firm aims to align its leadership with artificial intelligence and platform-led growth. This strategic shift represents one of its most significant recent transformations.
Therefore, India’s largest IT services provider is preparing for future enterprise demands. Moreover, automation and platform modernisation will soon dictate client requirements. The financial sector remains a major focus for this overhaul. The Americas division generates the highest revenue for the company.
Executives have split this crucial business into two separate operating units. This division will ultimately enhance customer engagement and operational execution. Furthermore, Susheel Vasudevan will transition into a highly strategic role. He previously managed the Americas financial services division.
Currently, he reports directly to Chief Executive Officer K Krithivasan. Meanwhile, Rakesh Kumar and Mohan Veeturi have received significant promotions. They will now lead the newly established banking and financial groups. Additionally, the corporate shakeup extends deep into international territories.
Manmeet Chhabra has officially become the new country head for Canada. He succeeds Soumen Roy in this vital North American market. Subsequently, Roy will direct the global value and innovation centres. The technology firm has also established new dedicated industry segments.
Arun Pradeep will oversee the travel, transport and hospitality group. Sabyasachi Chandra will manage the energy, resources and utilities division. Both sectors present substantial long-term growth opportunities globally. In Europe, Ganesa Vaikuntam is shifting his focus entirely.
He leaves the cyber security division to manage life sciences. Consequently, Vaikuntam replaces Vikas Jain in the UK and European region. Separately, Chief Operating Officer Aarthi Subramanian revealed multiple strategic appointments. Rajnish Palande will manage the newly formed ServiceNow business unit.
This move highlights an expanding partnership with the enterprise software provider. Furthermore, Kumaranarayanan takes charge of the global cyber security division. Previously, Kumaranarayanan directed the North American energy and resources sector. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Tripathi will govern the new US West Coast group.
This division will aggressively target semiconductor and software clients. Additionally, V. Rajanna will consolidate communications, media and information services. Finally, Akhilesh Tiwari will supervise global sales for autonomous business operations.
