The airline expands its Americas network with new routes to Caracas & Bogotá.

Qatar Airways has inaugurated its first direct flights connecting Doha with Caracas & Bogotá, expanding its Americas network to 17 destinations.

Qatar Airways recently launched a new twice-weekly service connecting Doha with Caracas & Bogotá. As a result, the carrier marks a significant milestone in international aviation. The airline now operates the first nonstop service from the Middle East to both South American cities. Furthermore, Qatar Airways becomes the only Gulf carrier currently flying into Venezuela.

The new route highlights a strong commitment to improving global connectivity. Specifically, the airline will deploy modern Boeing 777-200LR aircraft on these long-haul journeys. Travellers can expect comfortable flights across the newly established network. Moreover, these additions bring the carrier to its 16th & 17th destinations across the Americas.

The carefully planned schedule ensures smooth onward connections through Hamad International Airport. As a result, passengers gain excellent access to major markets in Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, & South Korea. Additionally, the United Arab Emirates remains easily accessible via the Doha hub. This layout provides exceptional flexibility across a network of over 170 global destinations.

Flights depart Doha every Wednesday & Sunday morning at 07:35 and arrive in Bogotá at 16:25 local time. The journey continues from Bogotá at 17:55, arriving in Caracas at 21:00. The return flight leaves Caracas at 23:30 & lands in Doha at 20:35.

The airline originally began serving South America in 2010 via São Paulo, Brazil. The company has since expanded its regional presence through a strategic partnership with LATAM Airlines Colombia. As a result, travellers have much greater access to key domestic destinations.

Qatar Airways currently codeshares on several LATAM-operated flights from Bogotá. As a result, passengers can easily reach cities like Cartagena, Medellín, Cali, & Santa Marta. Ultimately, the airline continues strengthening international travel options this winter. Passengers can book their tickets directly through the company website or mobile app.
