Global tech giant creates unified AI platform to revolutionise life sciences & healthcare.
Dassault Systèmes completes its $1.8 billion acquisition of ArisGlobal to launch a new AI-powered platform for medicine.
Dassault Systèmes has successfully completed its acquisition of ArisGlobal. The French technology firm paid $1.8 billion in cash for the medical software specialist. The agreement also includes an additional $200 million based on performance milestones. This significant investment aims to unite scientific data with clinical results.
Strategic growth in the life sciences sector remains a top priority for the group. As a result, it is creating a unified, AI-native platform for its healthcare clients. This new system connects every step of the complex drug development process. Biological models will become smarter as more real-world data enters the system.
Dr Ashwini Zenooz joins the executive team to lead this ambitious project. She previously held prominent positions at Salesforce & the US government. In her new role, she will oversee the integration of the Medidata & Biovia brands. Zenooz plans to give the industry a clearer way to understand complexity.
ArisGlobal currently provides vital regulatory & safety services to over 200 clients. Meanwhile, half of the world’s top biopharma companies rely on its platform. Aman Wasan will continue to lead ArisGlobal under the wider corporate group. Therefore, the existing expertise will support the transition to a unified system.
The group has built a strong foundation in modelling & simulation technology. Now, it seeks to bring engineering virtual twins into the real world. These complete living models will help predict outcomes for millions of patients. This acquisition represents a decisive step toward smarter decisions in modern medicine.
