Analysis from OpenSignal shows that premium subscribers now experience significantly quicker download speeds. Furthermore, these users benefit from reduced latency through advanced network-slicing technology.
This development has reignited discussions regarding mobile network neutrality across the industry. Some analysts argue that prioritising high-paying customers might eventually lower service quality for others. They suggest that spectrum remains a finite resource in a competitive market. Nevertheless, actual network performance data presents a different picture.
